Due to #Covid19, Class 10th CBSE Board #exam had been cancelled and Class 12th CBSE Board Exam was on hold to review in the month of June, 1st 2021.
A high-level of Virtual meeting on Sunday, May 23, was held and it was chaired by Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, in the presence of Education Minister Ramesh Pokhriyal 'Nishank', Union Minister for Women and Child Development Smriti Zubin Irani and Union Minister for Information and Broadcasting Prakash Javadekar with All states/UT Education Ministers, Secretaries and chairperson of state examination boards as well as stakeholders.
In meeting, the Centre has proposed two options before the
states as to how the Class 12th board exams are to be conducted.
1. First proposal was to change the pattern and take the exam
of Class 12th CBSE Board of duration 1.5 hours.
2. And second proposal was to take the exam of few selected
subject (19 Subjects which are important to take admission in Universities) and
rest subject result would be on the basis of internal assessment.
As we know that there are 176 subject which are offered by #CBSE
board in Class 12th
Almost all states have shown their consent to conduct exam
except few state like Delhi and Maharashtra.
All state have told that Teachers and students safety is
important for them and also said to first vaccinate the all students and
examinee before conducting the exam.
Central government has also told all states to give their
consent and advices to conduct the examination on May 25th, 2021.
After this meeting we can say that the exam would be
conducted now it will not be cancelled
